CNA - Hospice Care

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting in direct patient care activities for terminally ill patients in a hospice environment under a Registered Nurse's supervision.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing safe and effective care to patients in a long-term acute care setting, such as patient hygiene, mobility and positioning, vital signs, specimen collection, patient safety, and patient care planning.

The CNA - Long Term Care (LTC) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing safe, compassionate care to patients in a long-term care facility, including those with physical and cognitive impairments.

CNA - Medical Surgical

The CNA-Medical Surgical (MedSurg / Med-Surg) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing post-surgical care services, monitoring and recording vital signs, and providing support to patients.

CNA - Medication Aide

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing daily medication to patients, reporting changes, collecting samples, and recording medication dosages per the physician's direction and administer non-injectable medications
