The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of assisting the School Health RN with activities within their scope of practice, including but not limited to direct care, administration of medications, measuring vital signs, documenting patient histories, assisting with procedures, clerical tasks, and documenting health record.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing effective wound care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician and adhering to infection control and other healthcare policies and procedures.

The LPN/LVN Rehab exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s proficiency in providing care to patients in rehabilitation settings, including rehabilitation techniques, patient assessments, and care planning for individuals recovering from injury or illness.

The LPN/LVN Telemetry (Tele) exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing care for critically ill patients, monitoring the condition of patients in telemetry units, and advising patients and their families on post-hospital care.
