Restraints

The exam comprises a brief background discussion and assessment to test the clinician's knowledge of restraint protocols, including appropriateness, requirements for use, and monitoring/evaluating patient response.

RN - Acute Care

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of providing advanced nursing care for patients with acute conditions such as heart attacks, respiratory distress syndrome, or shock.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of caring for patients who have long-term physical disabilities or chronic illnesses and assist them with any personal limitations which might result from these disabilities.

The exam comprises competencies to test the clinician’s knowledge of overseeing and directing the care of high-risk-pregnant women and their families.
