The Diagnostic Imaging Nurse/Radiology Nurse exam comprises competencies to test a clinician’s proficiency in monitoring and evaluating patients under sedation, providing analgesic medication, performing suctioning, and starting and monitoring intravenous lines and catheters during diagnostic imaging procedures.
